This week has been both great and shitty at the same time. Great because we got a lot of things done but shitty because of the damn pollen. I can't breathe. My ears are stopped up. I hear a constant roar. It sounds like I have my head stuck in a waterfall. I can't sleep. Not because I can't breathe, but somehow, and I'm not really sure how it happened, Kara has moved into our bed... And she doesn't sleep like a normal human. She has to have some part of her body touching me and it's usually her fuzzy head. Or her bony knees.
Did I say we got a lot done this past week? Well, that was a lie now that I think of it. We didn't really get anything done except get Kara her own bed. And it's a nice bed! She's got a cute little Spongebob comforter on it and it's so comfy. Does she like it? No. She's freakin' scared of it. She's also scared of ELMO. If she sees ELMO, she starts screaming and crying. Is she the only child in the world that's afraid of a talking puppet? Soooo being the terrible parent that I am, I put ELMO under the kitchen cabinet to keep her out of it. I can always tell when she tries to get under there because I'll hear a little scream. As long as it keeps her safe and out of the plastic bags' way, I guess he can live there for a while.
Oh a brighter note, she's almost potty trained! And it has been so easy. She tee-tee's for cat treats! "Mommy! Tee-tee Bippy Teets!" Translation = "Mother, I just urinated in/around the plastic potty and I want a Flippy treat for my efforts." No, she does not eat them. She just wants to feed my overweight cats. However, she does still occasionally hunker up and shit the floor.
Well, I was going to put up a picture of her cute new bed but the Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. Ah well. Maybe later then.
Oh yay. It's working again.
Who wouldn't want to sleep there!?
