hoo boy

Before I even went to bed lastnight, I could tell that today was not going to be a good day. I was even getting aggravated in my dreamworld. They were weird dreams anyway. I was asking someone questions but instead of them answering me vocally, they were checking boxes like you would do in an online poll. Now if I wanted to sit down and try to interpret my dream, I'd say there was a lack of communication somewhere between me and the online-poll-checker. The dream ended with Kara banging on the door and hollering "GO BACK THERE". Why? I have no idea. It was quite nice laying in bed even if I was having weirdo dreams. I get up to GO BACK THERE then she starts in whining about milk and breakfast, Molly is bouncing everywhere trying to tell me it's past time for her morning poo and two cats are gathered around my ankles trying to lead me to the treat bag. or trip me to death so they can fulfill dream of dining on their masters flesh. I always imagined that to be on top of the 'Things to do before I die' list made by cats. I told everything around me that I needed to pee first. They all answered at the same time. It was a mixture of 'meoooooowwww nite nite miiiiiilk woof'. So I make some quick milk for Kara, Feed the cats, get an extra potful of cat food for the outside cats, hook Molly to the leash and finally head for the door. I told Kara to watch me out the window while I put Molly on the chain. I turned to open the door and at the same time, excited Molly jumped high into the air, hit my pot of cat food and knocked it everywhere. I looked at it, got another pot of food and finished taking Molly out. I decided to smoke my usual half of a Marlboro while I was out there. After I got the cat food cleaned up, I thought I had better sit down before anything else happened. And that's where I'm at now. Maybe I should get up now and start cleaning the house.

Here's a few random pictures I've been playing with. I've been using paintdotnet to do things with. It's a lot different from what I'm used to but I'm starting to catch on.

Trying out this new Flickr photo thingy on the sidebar.-----> Over yonder. I don't know how often it updates though. And I noticed after you upload a pic to the Flickr place, you can get an html to link to it so I'm gonna see how that works now. And it if does actually work, you'll get to see a rare family pic! Oh how I hate to part with my camera at times like this. I'm the one that's supposed to be behind the camera!

Currently Partly Cloudy, 99'F

It's oh so hot outside and oh so boring inside. Me and Kara loaded up and headed for the big town so we could find something to do in Walmart. We (she) decided we'd make some shirts. We got the stuff to make a few tie-dyed shirts and some fabric paint for her old white shirts. After she wakes up from her nap, we'll get to dyeing! I did make her a shirt as a surprise though... She wanted a Spongebob shirt but all they have around here are the shirts for big husky boys. And after looking at it, I just might make me one to match! and for 10 bucks you can have one too!

Homemade Spongebob

While I'm thinking about it, I read somewhere (atleast I think I read it) that sometimes the best deeds that people do are the deeds they don't boast about but keep them quietly tucked inside and covered with a smile. To the anonymous person that paid to have my Mom's truck fixed, thanks! There is indeed some good left in this world.

Kara's Owl

Kara made a felt owl! I did the cutting and glued the main body part on and she did the sticking of the smaller owl details. I had to paint black all around the eyes to help hold them on. She had so much glue on them that they wouldn't stick. The red and yellow squigglies are supposed to be feathers and the white blobs are more stars. Lots of fun and the clean up was more disastrous then the actual painting of the owl. Fabric paint + carpet = suck.

House Cleaning Day

I woke up this early morning smiling and thinking 'Now that was a dream the whole family could enjoy'. I have no idea what it was about. Wish I could remember though. Kara woke up when I did. We took the dog outside and sat around the sad looking flowerbed for a while talking about ants and poopoo. We didn't stay out there long. There was breakfast to be made. We came back inside then went to dig in the kitchen. There were ants making trails up the wall. Big long trails. I sprayed them with poison, made biscuits with apple juice and sat down to enjoy a half decent breakfast. I couldn't even eat! I was looking around the house and it was WRECKED. Unfolded clothes on the couch, stickers in the carpet, cat vomit in the corner, the list goes on. I started cleaning. So far I've got the bathroom, living room and almost the whole kitchen cleaned. I even took all of the cushions off the couch and vacuumed it out. Most people find loose change in their couch. Not me. I find Moon Pies and Barbie legs under my cushions. That's not too bad though. I remember this one time when my Mom found her dog under hers. Yep. Her dog. Some of the staples had come loose from the fabric and he was able to slip down inside the couch. True story.

Anyway. Looks like my break time is up.

Funniest thing ever

Boobs, Injuries, & Dr. Pepper

"One for all five of them."
I laughed so hard.

It reminded me of when I was 14 or 15 and my Dad, who never joked (I didn't even think the man had a sense of humor), showed me a finger condom and told he found my 'calling card' by my window. I knew I didn't have a calling-card because I didn't even know what a calling-card was so I was confused right from the git-go. I knew it was a condom he was holding but I was amazed by it's tininess. And since I always had to have the last word, I asked ,"What? Is it for little boys?" I guess you would have had to have been there. For me it was one of those moments that gave me a hot flash. Kinda like the first time I heard my Dad say "fucked it up".

Dear World,

I'm sorry if I'm raising a future criminal.

While on another trip to Wal-mart today, I noticed Kara had taken her arms out of her car seat straps. I told her she had better put them back on RIGHT NOW or else the cops would get her. Instead of putting her straps back on, she whispers in a loud voice "Hide!". Once before while we were outside playing, she could hear sirens going by. She didn't stop to listen, she started running and hollering "COPS!". Maybe now is the time to limit her television to PBS only and stop her from watching hours of COPS on CourtTV at night with her Daddy.

The Friendly Dragonfly

Once upon a time, there was a friendly dragonfly. I'm sure his name was Blue and I took his picture 57 times. And here they are! Well, here are two.. I mean three. Unaltered and unshrunk so they're about 2.5 - 3mb each.

Oh Dear

This is the funniest thing I heard today:

"Sometimes I do my gum like this *makes a gesture* and I let it hang down like this so I can see what I'd look like if I had teeth."

Apparently this also works by using toothpaste foam.

"What do you do with the mad you feel?" I have found a solution! Wax your hair off! By the time you're finished ripping hair off various parts of your body, you'll be smiling because it's over and would have probably forgotten what ever you were mad about. But when I did it, I wasn't even mad! I'm sure if I had been mad at the time, I'd have been smiling afterward. *insane smile*

And no, this is not a link about waxing..

Please Print this Form

Ok.. Some people can't read good but want to do other things good too. Some people want to print good things but Vista doesn't want to let them. I want to read and print pages good too! so I did..

Here's the short of it:

I wanted to enroll in online banking so I could watch the money leave my bank account in real-time. What could be more fun than that? Until you get to the last page of enrollment and it says "Print, sign, date and return". By US Postal mail! or Fax. Alrighty. No printer = no printing. No printing = no signing. No signing = No returning. What's a fool to do?! So I printed it! and when I got to the last sentence I finally saw the contact number and email of where to reach these people.. I guess I don't read no good either.

printthisform.jpg

If I could read good and RTF form, I would have noticed that it said "return the portion above" which was only 3 blank lines.. Print your name, sign your name, date.

Shutterfly should love me.

And give frequent customers better deals than a free 8x10. I know they don't HAVE to give me anything but sheesh. Last night after hours (and I mean HOURS) of uploading 50MB of pictures to Shutterfly, I was finally able to order. Strange thing was Firefox kept timing out and have 10 kinds of problems uploading so I had to use IE and it had no problems at all. Here was my oder:

40 - 4x6 Print (glossy) -$0.19 =$7.60
2 - 5x7 Print (glossy) -$0.99 =$1.98
1 - 8x10 Print (glossy) - Free $3.99 =$ 0.00
1 - Set of 4 Wallet Prints (glossy) $1.79 =$1.79
2 - 20x30 Print (matte) -$22.99 =$45.98
Shipping and handling: $9.98
Discount: $0.00
Tax: $6.06
Total for this Recipient: $73.39

$73.39

I got 20x30's of #10 and #12. I doubt I get any of the 4x6's but the 20x30's, 5x7's and free 8x10 are mine.

Here's the ones I ordered.

Evilness

Today I tossed an innocent grasshopper into a spider's web. It didn't last long. In about 15 seconds the spider wrapped it up, bit it then went back to rest in the middle of the web. I am so ashamed that I did this. To make things worse, I flagged Casey over and made him watch me do it again. I'm sorry, grasshoppers. I won't do it again. Oh, and I photographed it.
Sick freak. I should be kicked.
