The trailer park called! They want their tree back. :(

Here's the history behind our poor tree there:

We've had it for many years. It's been knocked down many,many times. So many times that a few years ago we just tethered it to the ceiling so it would just dangle there and not fall over. We didn't even bother putting it up last year. But this year, we had to because Kara needed a Christmas Holiday tree. We spent hours putting it up and getting it decorated just right. There were red and silver balls all over it! All those balls are now in a vase on the fireplace mantle. The tinsel? Is there still tinsel on it? Because I saw her running around earlier with it draped over her shoulders like it was velvet. (Costanza reference there.) Anyway.. Kara un-decorated everything she could reach and redecorated it with.. get this.. coat hangers! The tree skirt under it has been turned into a cat bed. You can find all kinds of things 'hidden' in the branches. Like toys, honey buns, etc. If I ever get hungry, I can just go look in the tree for left overs.

Ah, the joy of Christmas holidays!

Maybe I should just take this pathetic thing on down...

Christmas is over at last! It was great while it was here but I'm not sad to say it's over. Of course Kara got more stuff than she needed but she had a blast! And now, it's New Year's Eve and my big plans are giving her a bath and getting her in bed by 9pm so I can sit here at the computer again. When did I get so old?

Also, while I was on the phone for a few minutes to get some more stuff added to the cell phone bill, this is what happened. God, she was having so much fun. I almost hated to clean it up.
