I'm supposed to be getting 'Up to 512Kbps' for uploads '128kbps' for downloads. I usually get around 500kbps for download and upload is too shitty to talk about. For my connection to be this fast, it sure sucks!!

So we went bed shopping the other day. We haven't had a new bed in 11 years and felt we deserved it. At least I felt that way. There were several nice ones there. I was really fond of a lighter colored poster bed. So I gave Casey the choice between the lighter colored bed and this darker one. He liked the darker. Fine with me so long as we get something new. They had to order the bed because they don't keep king-size things in stock. We were able to pick up the bed on Monday and had it set up by Monday night. That included taking back the first set of box springs that they sent us. Maybe it really was an accident that they gave us some cheap box springs and not the good ones that I ordered or maybe they thought that I just wouldn't notice. Anyway, I now have what i paid for. After all was set up and we were able to flop onto the bed and look around, I asked Casey "Why did you like this bed?" Of course, he didn't know why. Maybe it was the dark wood? After I got to really looking at the ornate details of the bed, I could tell why he liked it, even if he didn't notice. It looked like a bunch of little vaginas sat on some wood and left an imprint on it. While the bed really is pretty, when I think about it, I don't just call it our 'new bed' but instead I think of it like "vagina bed", "monkey bed", "so this is what it feels like to wake up inside a clit", "God, I slept in a vagina last night" and the list goes on.

A few nights ago, we'll say on the 18th, the satellite went out and I couldn't do anything. No games, no email, no web browsing, nothing. That was one of the most boring hours of my life. When I got up the next morning, everything seemed fine until I got the 'router not detected' error. With no router, no Tivo updates. No Tivo updates = sad people and no season pass for Max & Ruby. I reset the router several times. Redid the whole network thing so many times that I was about to cry. When I checked the Tivo, I saw "No wireless network available". I started adding new networks, changing anything that could be changed and nothing would make it work. I had to key in that friggin' 26 digit hex-a-something encryption key at least a dozen times. Do you know how hard that is to do using a 5 year old remote controller with half the buttons gnawed off? Anyway, I finally figured it out.. And it was so easy. I felt like a dumbass for not noticing it before. but on my router config page, it wasn't updating the DNS. It was just 0.0.0.0. All I had to do was key in a DNS number there and it was fixed. Maybe I'm just router retarded but shouldn't it have done that itself? Now, if I can just make it for the rest of my life without having to reset that router or turn off my modem, all will be at peace in my little world of internet, Tivo and cartoons.

Another thing, I got my haircut again today. I say again... it's been quite a while since I got a good whack job on it. hehe I said whack-job. It's a lot shorter and so much thinner now and it looks good! It falls just perfectly around my fat face. You know those fruit roll-ups that used to have the faces on them and you could stretch them to make them look distorted and bigger? That's what it looks like someone did to my face. I have GOT to do something and lose like 10 pounds. Maybe cutting back on eating would be a good start. I got out of bed around midnight to go outside and take a furry blanket out of Charlie's house so he'd stfu and decided to check email (and obviously write this) before going back to bed and I had this enormous craving for a Little Debbie Valentine cake! I went to the kitchen and got a banana instead. After I ate the banana, I went back to the kitchen and got a fucking cake. and I MIGHT just go get a burrito to take to bed with me. No, I won't do that tonight but I have done it before. I used to take bagels to bed with me. Why can I not stop eating? Maybe I should start eating a few bits of sponge before bedtime so I won't feel hungry.

I decided to make today a house cleaning day. I have 16 hours to do it all becauth Casey is working a double shift. I started on the living room. I picked up all the stray toys, scraped stickers off the door, walls and floor then vacuumed. Kara walks through and sat "Ohhh! It's clean! I can walk!" She made it sound like I've never in her life cleaned this house.
