And this is what I do now.
We went back out to Danville today. We found a few more plows and several pieces of things that we weren't sure about.
Small plow.
Broken horse bit from Sunday in Danville.
Several old bolts from Sunday.
A nut that maybe went to one of those bolts.
We even dug up a frog! We covered him back up and left what ever treasure he was guarding there.
Some old shears we found on Sunday.
My poison ivy is a lot worse today and Kara has it all under her arms from when I was picking her up before I knew I had it.
Another thing that comes along with all of this outdoorsy shit is poison ivy. I have it to the Nth degree on my right hand and arm. Oh God please make it go away!!
Kara and I decided to go on a treasure hunting picnic today. It was cool and breezy. A very nice day for a picnic. We dug a few holes then stopped to eat our soggy bologna sammaches with cheetos smashed on them. Mom came along with us so I had someone to tote the shovel. Kara's hands were full with her worm bucket. We went in the woods behind our house and then to the yard of the house I lived in when I was a kid. Didn't find much in the woods. Mostly pieces of fence and nails. In the old house yard, I found a penny, pair of pliers, more nails, some weird things, a handle to a toy gun and on olf Hot Wheels car. On the bottom if the car it say "Steam Roller 1973". Since that was before my time, I'm thinking it belonged to my brother or cousin.
